Journal writing is a very old and time-honored pursuit.  Many of our greatest insights into history and culture come to us because somebody somewhere at sometime was diligent in keeping a personal journal.  The need for journaling is just as great today, because someday someone somewhere will need to know what is happening in your life right now.
